MAITLAND, Fla. (June 16, 2008) – Through the first half of this year, Curley & Pynn Public Relations Management has dedicated close to 400 hours of time to charitable organizations in Central Florida, translating to more than $33,000 in pro bono support.
Ranging from event publicity and promotion to Web and creative design, Curley & Pynn has donated its services to the American Diabetes Association, Charity Challenge, the Heart of Florida United Way and others.
For more than 20 years, Curley & Pynn has indirectly supported more than 300 Central Florida philanthropic organizations through Charity Challenge, an annual athletic competition to raise money for charities such as Florida Hospital, the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida and the American Red Cross of Central Florida. Curley & Pynn continued its support this year for Charity Challenge XXIII, providing publicity and design services for the prominent community event that raised $300,000. In addition, this year marks the beginning of a continued partnership between Curley & Pynn and Heart of Florida United Way. The agency will provide ongoing Web development and support for the largest provider of funds to critical health and human service programs serving Central Florida, whose 2007-08 annual campaign generated more than $17 million.
